The RCN England consultative ballot results have been released this morning. On a 25.4% turnout, 8.3% accepted the award. 91.7% rejected this shameful offer of a 3% pay award

With regards to the RCN Carr, the KPMG governance review and the upcoming EGM, it's sad that democratic debate in these issues has been restricted. I find that I'm, along with other long standing RCN members, are blocked from Twitter discussions. More woe for the RCN

What a surprise…Government solves NHS crisis of it’s own making, by ramping up the use of the private sector providers. Someone is benefiting from the government’s neglect of the NHS, but it’s not patients or taxpayers 😠 😡

The Pay Review Bodies were set up by the Tories in late 1980s to end the boom and bust history of nurses pay. It worked fairly well until 2010 when the Tories came to power and smashed it
