Time for this government & future governments to stop throwing our cops under the bus and to the wolves at the .Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) The reality is this country has un-empowered our police service and our CJS is broken. So proud of my CID colleagues and of course my team for successfully obtaining the post-conviction ancillary orders - this means once released from prison, the main gang members will be under strict terms aimed at preventing further criminality for 5 years 👏🏼

A man has been convicted of the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky in Bradford in 2005.

Piran Ditta Khan fled to Pakistan in January 2006 and stayed there until he was extradited in April last year.

He’ll be sentenced at a later date.
