Wasting $10.7 billion of taxpayer dollars on foolhardy highway expansions is the definition of poor public policy.

I strongly oppose the misguided Turnpike widening and would allocate this funding for our mass transit infrastructure.

One of America’s most pleasant train platforms may be found at San Diego’s Santa Fe Station, where the Amtrak Surfliner, Coaster (commuter rail), and the MTS Trolley (light rail) blue and green lines converge.

The requirement that street widths accommodate on-street parking where ample off-street parking is also required results in low parking utilization, overly wide and fast streets, and unnecessary heat sinks.

You absolutely love to see it:

USDOJ is threatening to sue NYPD (for violating ADA) b/c police keep blocking sidewalks with their cars.

Shoutout to Streetsblog New York, Marcel Moran & all those who've drawn attention to NYPD's indefensible behavior.
