Leaving Erasmus was nothing but petty spite, putting up barriers between Europeans. 🚧 Staying out? That’s just idiotic and cowardly. 🤦‍♂️ Erasmus is a win for Britain—time to reclaim them! 🇪🇺✈️ Do you agree? RT and Like if you do. Follow to bring about change. #RejoinErasmus

It is time for the governing class in the UK to do something for young people. Young people did not vote for Brexit, the vast majority under 30 years old did not have a voice in the referendum that made their country poorer & severely limited their prospects for the future.

People say classical music is elitist. But right now THE LARGEST CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD costs as little as £8 to see the world's GREATEST headline acts. And oasis want between £74 and £506. Not very demure. Not very mindful. And quite elitist if you ask me.

Very excited to pick up this gorgeously produced book a day before its UK release ahead of a long train trip back to Glasgow. Thank you William Dalrymple - I’ve been looking forward to this! 🇮🇳

Truly Avanti West Coast are the best possible advert for @easyjet. Cancelled trains suddenly reinstated, drivers AWOL, no working power sockets, bar can’t take cards, toilet bust, stuck in Preston. Sub-Standard & certainly not Premium. A national embarrassment. Louise Haigh sort it!

Are the The SNP sure this is “increased spending”, not just reinstating the funding that’s been promised then withdrawn at least twice? As they well know, the cultural sector is Scotland’s best & only diplomatic service … lose it and we disappear from the international radar.

Seven hours and counting on this train from Euston to Glasgow … and now “there may be a train on fire ahead of us” at Motherwell. This must be way down the list of excuses in the Avanti West Coast handbook. How on earth this company ever makes any money, God only knows 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🚂🔥

After the EU yesterday ruled out loosening rules for UK touring musicians Joe Powell MP asks about removing Brexit barriers for creative industries. Surprising that there's no specific mention of the sector in the answer, given it contributes a massive £126 BILLION to UK GDP.

A key point missing in a lot of post debate analysis is that Trump’s claim about immigrants eating pets almost perfectly syncs up to the piano in the Peanuts theme song.
