Out at the OPREC station in Goodwell pulling high density deep soil cores w/ the new Veris Technologies machine, in the snow and 35 degree weather. Will circle back and get higher density probe readings. Getting Penetrometer/EC/OM with each poke at 5m res. Mapping Breeder Blocks.

Seemed way to cold for the job today but we wrapped up our #sorghum planting season. Michaela Smith, Ph.D planted her last to locations which are looking at how long can N be delayed and fully catch up. Along with a N source X timing study.
A fun extra tidbit with Michaela Smith, Ph.D delayed #nitrogen application on #sorghum is being able to document the impact N availability have on sorghum heading. Right of line had N early, left just received N recently. Cool work Mick.

At the Cotton Incorporated OK State Support Committee meeting in Altus, having great discussions with cotton producers and Oklahoma State University Extension colleagues about sustainability and profitability of cotton production. Thanks PCCA for hosting us.
