I have spent this evening in a sectional rehearsal with The Brass Band of Central England Euphonium and Baritone section working on Philip Sparke's 'Variations On An Enigma' in preparation for The Midlands Area Brass Band Championships which will be taking place on Sunday 3rd March 2024.

I had an eye opening weekend with members from Nimy Company Living History Society, and two incredibly talented photographers, Mark Graham and Tom Carlill at The Centre for Experimental Military Archaeology trench system, where we portrayed the British soldier of January 1916.
