Today on Jo's Birthday, we've teamed up with the The Jo Cox Foundation and Muslim Hikers to continue Jo's legacy of welcoming new arrivals through a 'Great Get Together' walk. “We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us.” #RefugeeWeek

Over the last several years the team have been working incredibly hard to help people from countries such as Syria resettle and integrate in Coventry. To date, through the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme - now known as the UKRS - we have resettled 804 people in the city👏

Yesterday we held our second-ever Children’s Citizenship Ceremony. The ceremony is a legacy of the MiFriendly Cities project and is to recognise and celebrate the importance of British Citizenship to children and young people. 1/4.
