11 mins gone and St Mary’s have taken a lead from a corner 1-0

15 mins gone and it’s now 2-0. Another corner headed in this time 💛💙

21mins: Jonny Black through on goal and is upended by the St Mary’s keeper who only receives a yellow card for it. The resulting free kick from the edge of the box hits the wall and is cleared

28mins: some confusion with players celebrating thinking we have one back but it seems to have hit the side netting. Still 2-0 to St Mary’s

32 mins: St Mary’s hit a quick counter-attack after we start to take a foothold in the game. After rounding the Dickson in goal, the goal bound ball is cleared off the line by Boyd

44mins: a strong header from Stewart somehow doesn’t go in and is cleared at the back post. Would have been a big goal just before half time

HT: Markethill Swifts 0-2 St Mary’s

57mins: Big change to get one back from the spot but the St Mary’s keeper saved Shaw’s penalty. Still 2-0

61mins: Keeper out quick to save at the feet of Shaw who was played clean through on goal

75mins: GOAL!! Scott Capper has us back in it with 15 to play. A well struck effort from Jonny Black could only be parried by the keeper and Capper was on hand to slot it away! All to play for though St Mary’s are understandably taking an age for everything!!

79mins: You may be shocked to hear it but a St Mary’s player is down with cramp. Big hold up. Everyone’s very concerned

84mins: St Mary’s player has ‘injured’ himself clearing the ball. Big hold up

90+1: Big chance to level but Dickson puts the ball wide
