These little girls went to Birmingham to cheer for these older girls yesterday in the State Championship. Today, these older girls showed up to cheer for these littles. I have said that Jana Killen puts the “cult” in culture in her program, and that extends all the way down.

Want to know why these kids are STATE CHAMPS? Less than 24 hours after hoisting the blue map, they showed up for softball practice. So proud of these three and their team for bringing the title home!! Always great to be a Tiger! 🐅

Congratulations to Alabama Southern Starz Veal 2022 CG Mary Alice Murner of 4A State Champion Deshler HS on committing to Faulkner University to continue her basketball and Cross Country career.

Deshler High's Mary Alice Murner becomes the first commit of the new Faulkner Cross Country program. She was part of the 2021 AHSAA North All-Star team. She'll also be continuing her hoops career with the Lady Eagles. She won the 2022 AHSAA 4A State Championship with Deshler.
