A male was stop searched in the St Helens yesterday–Arrested for possession of class A and PWITS–Home address was searched where weapons, cash and drugs were found–He was further arrested for possession of criminal property, offensive weapon and a firearm without certificate.

Officers from Merseyside Specials worked closely with RSPCA Australia on Friday evening to locate and arrest a male wanted under S.4 & S.9 of the Animal Welfare act 2006 – Male was located at an address in Liverpool, arrested and transferred to custody – Excellent partnership working.

Last Sunday, officers on patrol in the Old Swan area of Liverpool have sighted a vehicle to collide with street furniture, despite trying to make off, officers where able to swiftly detain the driver, who presented as intoxicated and blew 102 at the roadside. #fatalfive

On Friday, officers in St Helens have arrested a male who tried to make off following a stop check, for Class A drug supply amongst other offences. A subsequent search of the male's home address by our officers has revealed a large cannabis cultivation set up concealed within.

Liverpool officers had their attention drawn towards a vehicle showing no valid insurance this week, upon speaking with the driver they weren't aware they needed insurance to drive the vehicle on the road. Vehicle #seized and driver arrested for failing a roadside drugs wipe.

Yesterday some of our taxi licensing trained officers where on patrol when they spotted a private hire vehicle being used with significant front end damage and a number of obligatory lights not illuminated. Upon closer inspection officers spotted this additional issue. #suspended

On Saturday a number of Merseyside Specials joined our Merseyside Police colleagues to celebrate Liverpool Pride along with our communities. A fantastic occasion as ever to celebrate the diverse communities that we serve.

This van was seized by our officers in Sefton this week following a stop with the vehicle showing as having no insurance. The driver had cancelled the policy last month, but tried to fool officers with the certificate of insurance obtained prior to cancelling. #seized Operation Tutelage

Last week, Merseyside Specials in Liverpool witnessed a suspected drugs transaction, a male made off and was subsequently detained after a foot pursuit and found in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs, he was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A #arrested
