Today, Con Currie from the Community Engagement Unit attended a Volunteer & Careers Fair at Tomorrow's Women on the Wirral. It was great to engage with a number of women who expressed an interest in joining Merseyside Police. Thanks to everyone who came over to speak to us!
We were so lucky to have Merseyside Police visit today! The children learned how the police help us every single day! We talked about an emergency and what to do if we ever got lost. We also looked at the police car and heard the sirens. Mrs Igoe and Miss Gilliam even got arrested!
Constable Laura attended Mendell Primary for a careers event. It was lovely to meet the children and hear about their plans for the future.
On Saturday the Community Engagement Unit teamed up with the Liverpool Bame Community Network to deliver an afternoon workshop with the young people. We attended Kuumba Imani and talked all afternoon. Thank you for inviting us we had a great time meeting everyone.
Officers from the Community Engagement Team joined our Emergency Services Partners on World Drowning Prevention Day 2024 to raise awareness on how to stay safe near open water and how to keep others safe. Mersey Fire RNLI HM Coastguard
Officers from the CEU/hub 4 have attended at ST Charles Catholic Primary School KindLiverpool . We talked about how to contact the police, how to stay safe and stop and search. We then tried police uniform and kit before all having a sit in the police car MerPol South Liverpool
