A man has been charged with attempted robbery following an incident in #Aigburth on 8th April when someone tried to take cash from an elderly man on Aigburth Road. Arif Mian, 45, of Aigburth Road, has been charged with attempted robbery. He will appear in court today.

Good evening from your Speke Local Policing Team, on Friday we executed a Section 23 MDA Warrant at an address in the in Belle Vale, L27. We located 3 cannabis grow rooms, pre bagged cannabis buds and a wrap of white powder. As a result 2 males and a female have been arrested.

JAILED | Jack Chew, 24, of Dam Wood Road in Speke, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).

Today, whilst on patrol in the Garston Area, Speke Neighbour detained and searched a male under Section 23, Misuse of Drugs Act. As a result the male was arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A and B; and a Section 18 (1) search was conducted at his home address.

Patrols attended Little Heath road L24 Speke, to assist South Liverpool Homes in the eviction of a tenant; who has been causing extensive issues in the community over an extended period of time, regarding drug related crime.

A great find by Liverpool Targeted officers tonight. Engaged in disruption activities in the Lodge Lane area, witnessed a drug transaction taking place and after a brief chase located this knife and bags of drugs on him. A night in the cells and looking at several charges.

Speke Local Policing Team attended several stores across the South Liverpool Area. A number of illegal vapes and cigarettes where seized. These visits where conducted with Liverpool City Council trading standards and we will continue to disrupt stores supplying illegal products.
