Just finished @MrTomRad’s book - It Won’t Be Easy. This is a must read for all teachers...especially new ones! It’s our summer administrative reading assignment and then I’m going to find money in the budget for our new licensed staff at ISD 917 (all 76) to get copies this fall.

Today is Mitten Day at Alliance Education Center in ISD 917. Thanks to a generous sponsor, each child will receive a gift today...all 100+ students!

The University of Minnesota is closed today so this was the site of my prospectus meeting (approval for research from my committee) which is the next step in the PhD process. I am thankful for a tenacious advisor and WebEx. Next step is research approval via IRB submission.

Another step towards the dissertation underway...IRB submission completed today and Qualtrics survey ready to go.
