This baby elephant in Tesso Nilo National Park probably showing how he feels about humans. The Park in Sumatra is home to iconic and endangered wildlife and incredible biodiversity, but lost 87% of its primary forest cover between 2002 and 2022, mainly to oil palm plantations.

And they are beautiful & make the sweetest noises in my garden..I know they are there, they announce themselves...a constant joy to encourage them & admire their beauty!!..beautiful!!

Heartbreaking scenes from California..ultra-extreme conditions have culminated in this wildfire event..just beyond tragic for people, environment & animals. I can only offer my heartfelt condolences to all who are suffering right now. Australia understands the pain. 😓🙏
