My first paper is finally published! In it we explore how homologous chromosomes pair up by looking at cells in live fly embryos and comparing their dynamics to simulated polymers. Fantastic collaboration with Jack Bateman Hernan Garcia Daniel Jost doi.org/10.7554/eLife.…
This piece by Neem J. Patel was so much fun to design for - just look at all those colors and textures in the fungi & bacterial colonies 😍
I'm excited that my first, first-author paper is out on bioRxiv! Here, we combined quantitative live-imaging and thermodynamic modeling to study transcriptional repression in fly embryos. Cheers to all co-authors and my advisor Hernan Garcia !
Our paper is out in Nature Plants! Congrats Simon! nature.com/articles/s4147…
Lauren DeLaunay Miller, graduate student Berkeley Journalism writes about recent #research from UC Berkeley's Kendall Calhoun highlighting the dangerous implications of assuming that all #wildfires happen in forests. Designs by Meghan Turner berkeleysciencereview.com/article/2022/0…
