Incredible stuff: Hagen Smith has struck out 15 batters for all 15 outs through 5 innings. The all-time Arkansas Baseball record for strikeouts in a game by an Arkansas pitcher is 17 Ks by Jess Todd back in 2007.
What I just saw was the most dominant outing I have ever seen. Here's all 17 K's. Hagen Smith touched 99 early, sat 95-97 a lot, plus his mid-80s SL racked up 15 K's alone. Flashed an upper-80s CH. 8 FB whiffs, 17 SL whiffs. Pure domination. Arkansas Baseball Rob Friedman

Flashback City: I was front row at Jess Todd’s 17 K game in SEC Tourney back in 2007. Hoover heat & humidity at its finest. There were probably 300 people there. Good to remember that deeply underrated all-time pitching performance. Thanks to Hagen Smith!
