Last month, Our amazing McKinley AOB students learned how to extract DNA from Strawberries. Not only did they get to perform the procedure themselves, but they also were able to see the DNA up close!! This was led by our amazing teacher Dr. Schuster!!!

Ms Barker taught our senior students about the appearance and function of various equipment used in the lab such as a thermocycler, petri dish, microplate, and a microplate reader. This is critical because students are required to identify lab equipment for passing the BACE exam
