Finally able to get started on fwy aeration and a pretty good topdressing after a summer of a lower lot full of construction dirt and cars etc. ⁦Royal Mayfair⁩ We will be working on this project for the next few weeks.

A beautiful late September day ⁦Royal Mayfair⁩ 2 fwys to verticut, 3 fwys to aerate and 4 fwys to topdress. Should be finished by weeks end. Greens will be sanded and vented (small solid tines as per usual) early next week.

Last fwy today ⁦Royal Mayfair⁩ Thank you for your patience over the last 2 weeks. The greens will be topdressed and vented early next week. The leaves have really started to fall now so cleanup will be a daily task until freeze up. Heads up: Irrigation blowout on Oct. 6/7.

Reminder that B9 and all practice greens/nurseries will be topdressed, vented, brushed and rolled this morning and mowed this afternoon. F9 greens will get the same work tomorrow ⁦Royal Mayfair⁩

Poplars: branch cleanup then fuzzy pods then the sticky buds then the awful fluff in a month. And of course the leaf cleanup in the fall. Who designed this tree?!? 🤬

This is the team that brought the Royal Mayfair to peak conditioning throughout the summer and especially for todays start of the Club Championship Weekend. Unfortunately Day 1 has been washed out. The worst I can recall in many years. We’ll have it ready tomorrow morning!!

Coring fwys ⁦Royal Mayfair⁩ this season after a few years of solid tine work. If weather cooperates we should be finished by the end of next week.
