Down-the-road impacts on nuclear power from climate change need to be looked at now because relicensing decisions are being made now. Case in point: Turkey Point in Florida. Caroline Reiser fellow at NRDC 🌎🏡 has a piece in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists on this: tinyurl.com/y4wjg6tu

Been a long time since I clicked on a The Washington Times piece but comforting to know they are as trash as ever. In a graf and article about how fossil fuels are dominant, they have to slide in nuclear to get to the more impressive sounding 80% number

Hmm is this track record meant to inspire confidence that ⁦Form Energy⁩ really is the next big thing? Not saying it isn’t but from the wsj piece (which ⁦Eric Wesoff⁩ calls a puff piece) i don’t see why it is so special

Someone turn this into a 5 min video to counter the FB aunts and uncles who saw a PragerU vid and think the power is going out because of not enough coal

Not only is this piece just wrong (see @rabagoenergy) it also is horribly written stylistically. Painfully constructed sentence after painfully constructed sentence. It says “underlain.” I am shocked that Utility Dive, a usually great site, would publish this.

I am legitimately curious about Fred Stafford take on tva opposing new epa pm rule. I am really sympathetic to his arguments defending tva but this seems like a really bad stance by them utilitydive.com/news/epa-final…
