DROUGHT UPDATE shows an expansion of Level 1 over the past week across Southwest Florida. We've honestly had much worst over the years at this point in the year, but it's still something to monitor. April so far has been 1 - 2' drier than average. Good news is rainy season

Well, that's interesting. Apparently, a brief tornado occurred in Alaska on April 20th, 2024, near Rusty Point. This would be the first ever tornado in Alaska since the implementation of the Enhanced Fujita scale. The last official AK tornado was on July 25, 2005! 19 years ago.
