I'm pretty sure I can say, confidently, that this time lapse from years back, is one of the sole reasons I am not a 'get close shoot wide' 100% of the time type of chaser. Sometimes you just gotta sit back and shoot wide.

Yesterdays massive hail core developing and dropping right on Rock Hill. At one point the 65-70 dbz core extended up to 30,000' where it was -30 to -40 degrees C
