Absolutely agree. Delaying BPS phase out is absolutely not in the interest of farmers - not now and not ever. It really is time that the NFU woke up and started to lobby effectively to help farmers move towards a sustainable future rather than trying to pin them in the dark ages.

Female Nathusius's pipistrelles migrate from the south-east coast of England to the Netherlands and beyond (most males seem to stay put!). But what about the rest of our coast? Have been out deploying bat detectors in Devon today, hunting for good places to monitor them. #bats
