Bus fares in Glasgow are the most expensive of any British city. Reregulation of our buses through a regional franchise that is under public control will allow us to cap fares and set all routes and service levels. It's time to use the 2019 Transport Act powers and get it done.

My dissertation titled ‘Religious Nationalism and Minority Marginalisation: The legacy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on the Ahmadhiyya Muslim Community’ contributes an understanding to the ongoing religious persecution of Ahmadhi’s in Pakistan. A deeply personal and profound issue.

I graduated with a Master of Arts in International Relations. It was an honour to serve the community with positions such as Public Relations Officer, Sustainability Representative and Community Relations Officer but perhaps the most rewarding was founding the Pakistani Society.

I have been working as a Human Rights Intern United Nations Geneva, where I have drafted reports on minorities, attended side events, and translated key documents. This platform has allowed me to advocate for the rights of indigenous and minority communities at an international level 🇺🇳
