Fantastic opportunity especially for International students to gain an insight to Scottish politics and representation. Well done Josh Traynor 👏
I’ve had the honour of working with Stella Maris at my second year at University of St Andrews . A beacon of truth and justice, she is an inspiration for all those who put humanity first. Her courage makes her leadership strong but it’s her resilience that makes her impact unforgettable!
Huge honour to be elected as the MSYP for North-East Fife and massive well done to all the other candidates who stood! I would like to thank all the students who voted and I look forward to the term ahead Scottish Youth Parliament
Delighted to have attended this inspiring event hosted by Josh Traynor. A very inspiring and moving talk and discussion by Aamer Anwar✊🏾🏳️🌈#BlackLivesMatter
Days after the ICJ orders Israel to halt its military offensive in Rafah, the Israeli Government bombs displaced people living in tents. Innocent men, women & children dismembered and burnt alive. Bear witness to the images and ask yourself, are you on the right side of history?
I wrote to First Minister to highlight the efforts and concerns of young people protesting for Palestine. I have also given recommendations for action that are within the powers of the Scottish Government. Please read and share!
I’ve been following Olivia Brown MSYP campaign for Vice Chair closely. Her clear actionable vision with a practical pathway to achieve them is why she earns my vote! Check out her campaign and active media presence to understand her dedication for this role.
Honoured to complete the Advocacy for Democracy & Human Rights training by the Council of Europe representing Scottish Youth Parliament . Key highlights include advocating the genocide in Palestine and sharing organisational and personal best practices for successful campaigns.
I have been working as a Human Rights Intern United Nations Geneva, where I have drafted reports on minorities, attended side events, and translated key documents. This platform has allowed me to advocate for the rights of indigenous and minority communities at an international level 🇺🇳
"This internship was a truly transformative experience, strengthening my commitment to inclusive policymaking and reaffirming my dedication to advancing the rights of minorities & Indigenous Peoples." Syeda Mashaim Bukhari is an intern at UN Human Rights. This is her #InternTestimonial.
