They got Premier League Southampton at home in the FA Cup and got a replay.

That run earned the club over £500k.

Yet Premier League managers, like Brentford’s Thomas Frank, complained about replays and now they’re gone.

Six weeks to go in the Premier League season. Two teams with points deducted, both appealing those punishments. A team below (Luton) and above them (Brentford) who have no idea how many points they might need and no exact indication of appeal verdict dates. Horrendously messy.
