Dr Shane Tyrrell, Lecturer in Earth and Ocean Sciences at @nuigalway, has been appointed Deputy Director of the Irish Centre for Research in Applied Geosciences (ICRAG) iCRAG Centre, the @scienceirel Research Centre for Applied Geosciences.

Excited to share that I have been awarded an IRC Postdoctoral Fellowship within @UniofGalway's @PalaeoResearch and University of Galway Geography! I will work on establishing robust proxies for evaluating the impacts of palaeoweathering on the sedimentary record. We are now Research Ireland
