‘When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.’ In the revised version of the Royal College of Anaesthetists QI compendium, percentages for conversion from regional to general anaesthesia for C sections are no longer called ‘targets’. It's just a word. Why does it matter? 1/
