Come join the encampment, as students and staff University College Dublin we're calling on our University to cut ties with Israeli institutions. Academic freedom can't be used as a reason not to stand against genocide when all Universities in Gaza are destroyed.

Great to get a strong statement of support from SIPTU in UCD for the Palestine Solidarity encampment UCD Students' Union // Aontas na Mac Léinn COBÁC. Union solidarity is now more important than ever, support the camp as we enter into day 4.

Day 5 at UCD Liberation Camp, last night four Gardaí arrived at 12:30am asking questions. We view this as an act of intimidation by the University to invite Gardaí at this late hour. The encampment has expanded and support continues to grow with new students joining daily.

🧵Great turn out and energy today for the IPSC UCD Students' Union // Aontas na Mac Léinn COBÁC march in UCD. These are the people that have restored my pride in my university the last 15 days. The people who are silent on genocide and cry 'violence' at chalk our not our UCD. We are the Univeristy and we will win.

Absolutely disgusting, Simon Harris TD Micheál Martin Eamon Ryan céad míle fáilte to those committing genocide, enabling the provision of weapons to slaughter Palestinians, while patting themselves on the back for their "solidarity". Weapons out of Shannon NOW!
