I had Class 4 District 8 track meet today! I get to move onto sectionals in the 100m dash and the 4x100m relay! I got 4th in the 100m dash today, and my 4x100m relay got first with a team PR of 50.39!

The most important factor of an athlete’s performance is their mental game. With a strong mental game, an average athlete can play like a champion. With a weak mental game, a physically gifted athlete can play like a beginner.

Not only is it a rivalry, but it’s both schools’ last time competing in OKC for a conference title, as they’ll depart for the SEC in the summer.

As an athlete, don’t put too much pressure on yourself to succeed. Not only does this hurt your mental health, but it also hurts your performance in games. To be happy and successful, you need to take unnecessary pressure off of yourself, have fun, and keep a positive attitude.
