This video from the good people in Some Ska Band was the best birthday present I received today! If 18 year old ska-obsessed me had seen 50-something me playing the bass his head would have exploded! I’m grateful for another trip around the sun & more time to keep playing music!

Here's a picture from the heyday of Bigger Thomas taken at the QE2 in Albany, NY sometime in 1989 or 1990. The look of pure joy on Roger's face-- let alone the height on his leap -- is in stark contrast to the look of concentration and fear on my face!

While we had to change our name from Panic! to @biggerthomas pretty early on the 1 thing we kept was our 2 Tone ska inspired logo! We will be cranking up the merch machine and will have our classic T-shirt’s available at our upcoming 35th reunion shows!

Before our 1st show as the 1st ska band in New Jersey in 1988, we realized we needed a demo to book more shows & build an audience. We had been together for less than a month when we recorded three songs. This demo changed everything for us! Link in the bio to read the story!

The first show Bigger Thomas ever played in NYC was opening for the NY Citizens at the Cat Club in October 1988! They don't get the credit they deserve as a great American ska band on par with The Bosstones. Link in profile to read more about them & how they helped us out!
