Took a trip to Market Deeping on Saturday afternoon on preserved DelaineHeritageTrust Volvo Olympian / East Lancs, 116 - M1 OCT during the Delaine Heritage Running Day.

Colas HST confirmed for Spring Diesel Festival (16-19 May).

Had a ride on Saturday afternoon to Market Deeping on preserved DelaineHeritageTrust Leyland Atlantean / Northern Counties, 72 - ACT 540L during the Delaine Heritage Running Day.

LEV1, an experimental railbus with a body based on the Leyland National bus, is off to Locomotion Shildon. Rob and the shed team have done a superb job completing cosmetic repairs & preparing the unit for transport.

43148 did its job of pushing us to Aberdeen but with the weather slowly stirring, it's straight over to 43034 and 43183 for a return to Dundee

Refurbished class 23 No. D5903 is seen at Peterborough on the 7th October 1968. The locomotive was withdrawn in December of the same year and cut-up at G. Cohen's, Kettering, during October 1969.

LEV1 was built in 1975 based on a Leyland bus design to reduce operational costs on selected services. It has been on loan to the Wensleydale Railway and has just undergone a major cosmetic overhaul before being returned to National Railway Museum
