We also showed that a long filament assembles at the tip of the attachment organelle and is injected/extended into the host cytoplasm. What does it mean? We do not know! This study further highlights the fascinating cell biology of underexplored archaeal cells.

Today was the last day of #BMH2024 and I gave my second talk, which was one of the workshop lectures we delivered with Sepideh Valimehr and Manasi. Thanks to Eric Hanssen for chairing. It was a pleasure. I hope we met the expectations of the attendees. Until we meet again...
