The BHA wasn’t working for either party. It was a cool, rational, business-like professional decision to end it. The fact that the Greens took this so personally is a reflection of their political immaturity. They did not put their principles first. They put their emotions first.

On the ending of BHA: we must all reflect that devolution is not sovereignty and that many targets are not deliverable.

Much hurt felt and drama yesterday over BHA ending. Hope today after mature reflection there can be some healing. For all the difficulties BHA created for ScotGov there remains much in common between SNP and Greens and much of the problems came from external pressures.
