This is a concern I have with Trusts using NED roles to tick their Diversity Board box - instead of appointments directly to the Executive Boards which remain lacking

NEDs play a hugely important role but should NOT count towards an organisation Exec Board Diversity data IMHO

So this is great.

Is it a doctorโ€™s QI job though? No.

This is the sort of thing an NHS manager should be doing. Speak to clinical teams and ask what about the ergonomics (or lack thereof) is frustrating.

Then go back to the office, make it happen and measure the impact.
