1/ For those with #LongCovid : more symptoms, more muscle pain, more concentration problems, lower aerobic capacity, less muscle strength & myopathy (see study abstract and link below).
So yeah, the @forbes title -in relation to this study- is wrong.

3/ The debate about exercise in #LongCovid is frsutrating & I have largely stayed away from it for many reasons. But this is not the way to do it i.e. to simply recommend exercise based on mixed findings that don't properly evaluate harms vs benefits & in what groups of patients.
More costs added to the ‘eat out to help out’ scheme as documents finally released about the £2 million spent on focus groups to try and get public to support an idea for which no scientists were consulted and almost certainly accelerated a second wave 😡 theguardian.com/business/2024/…
