Thank you to Speaker Ron Mariano, Chair Aaron Michlewitz + HWM for passing 3 crucial pieces of animal protection legislation today. Ollie’s Law, the traveling acts bill + the removal of DCF breed restrictions on families wanting to foster or adopt make MA a better/safer place for all. 🐾

Great news!! Ollie’s Law–a measure that would require reasonable rules and regs for doggie daycares and boarding facilities–is heading to Maura Healey's desk! The law is named after a sweet dog who died from injuries sustained during a fight between dogs at a daycare 1/

No one should lose a beloved family member when they are in the care of a dog daycare or kennel. Today, the State Senate passed An Act to improve kennel safety, aka Ollie's Law. Having been passed by the House and Senate, Ollie's Law now heads to the Governor's desk.
