We'll be using Live Facial Recognition technology at key locations in Southwark today (26th June). This technology helps keep Londoners safe, and will be used to find people who threaten or cause harm, those who are wanted, or have outstanding arrest warrants issued by the court.

We’re using Live Facial Recognition in communities across London to remove harmful criminals from our streets. Officers made 10 arrests at deployments in Peckham and Wood Green yesterday. This includes men wanted for possession of a weapon, drug supply and strangulation.
