PSD True assisted Moose Jaw Police patrol members by tracking and locating a male who had just smashed several windows of a residence today.

PSD True was on scene assisting Moose Jaw Police Patrol and successfully tracked the suspect in last night’s homicide.

Today Retired PSD Andy, badge 1K9 was laid to rest. Born in 2008, PSD Andy kept the streets of Moose Jaw safe with Cst Jay Sills for over 6 years and lived a long happy life in retirement. Rest easy Andy.

End of an Era Post**** After the promotion of Handler Sgt Chad Scheske he said goodbye to the MJPS K9 Unit after 12 faithful years of service. PSD Siren, his 3rd dog, served her community for 6 years and helped bring many to Justice. Enjoy retirement girl, and thank you both!

At approximately 0530 hours Moose Jaw Police responded to an alarm call at a local business. A suspect was seen fleeing out the back and into the night. PSD Argo engaged in a short foot chase where the suspect decided the odds were not in his favor, and was brought safely into custody.
