PROTESTING: 1. COVID-19 is real. Because we do not want to further endanger anyone — we will not, at least for the time being, protest in-person. We have very powerful tools, however. Here's some zoom backgrounds for your classes. #StillConcerned

PROTESTING: 2. #BlackAtMizzou has brought light to racism at Mizzou. Let's turn it up a notch. If you have a story, as a witness or victim, DM and we will set up a private video session where we HEAR your story. We can distort audio and blur faces as needed. #StillConcerned

3. Share Share Share. Mizzou has been reactive when it comes to racism, not proactive. We have to force the change. Tag them until they turn tagging off. Call until they turn off the phones. Email until they can’t possibly ignore.

PROTESTING: 4. Don’t do anything you’ll regret. DO NOT pull down the statue. Students pulling down the statue is the equivalent of putting a bandage on a bullet wound. Mizzou admin should have to heal the student body, not the other way around.

Let me know when he doesn’t have a job at Mizzou anymore. Any other outcome and there’s something wrong with the system.
