Another successful litter pick by the Mill Hill Litter Pickers, over 30 sacks filled with one of the biggest turnouts ever, special mention to Papa Gee's Crazy Ice Cream Truck, he was kind enough to treat all the pickers to one of his special ice creams as a way of saying thanks!

Mill Hill Park this afternoon, is this wild animals or just people that are behaving like animals. Surely if the bin is full, find another bin or better still take your rubbish home with you!

Help us keep parks clean and tidy. If you are out in one enjoying the weather, please use one of the bins provided, and if it is full... do the right thing and take your litter home with you.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Sylvie last Sunday. Sylvie was one of our stalwarts, who attended many of our Mill Hill Litter group picks, with David at her side. We send our heartfelt condolences to David, and wish him, and all her family "long life."

Estimates suggest that around 16 million plastic bottles end up littered or in landfill every day, so it’s no wonder that, by volume, drinks containers make up 75% of the litter found on our streets. That’s why we’re calling for an “all-in” #DepositReturnScheme.
