Please welcome my new #AssistantPrincipal Eastfield Global. Went into McDowell Head Start to do an observation and this #prodigy grabbed her laptop and started checking boxes along with me! She will take it from here! She’s ready!

District Visit 40: Ms. Crawley from McDowell Co Schools was trusted by her district & school leadership & is creating memorable learning experiences for kids. She applied for one of many Burroughs Wellcome Fund grants and is taking STEM lessons to schools throughout the district and neighborhoods.

They are making sure that every 4 year old in the county can enroll in Pre-K/Headstart. The Early Learning Team is providing services for kids from pregnancy-preK using language and curriculum tools that kids will see on their first day of kindergarten! #NCTOYPOY

McDowell Co Schools was blessed to have #NCTOY, Eugenia Floyd, stop by & see the great things Renata Crawley is doing for West Marion. She also visited the Office of Early Learning where, in conjunction with McDowell Head Start, the district offers Universal PreK at no cost to families.
