You don’t always have to see a white shark to know one has been in the area. They sometimes leave calling cards like this tooth found by Kinger at a beach in Plymouth, MA. If you’re lucky enough to find a tooth like this please let me know. #CitizenScience

Spotted 3 species of whale this morning from Manomet Point. A couple of right whales started the show amidst the diving gannets. As the right whales moved further into the bay a couple of Fin Whales showed up and a Minke as well. I couldn’t get a picture of the minke, too fast.

Went 1 for 2 on great whites on my first trip back in a while. Had a big one throw the hook 10 yards from the boat, then landed this little 9 footer an hour later. She got a satellite tag and Megan Winton put a camera tag on her that’s recording her routine.

Found the perfect spot to watch the #SolarEclipse ! Too bad it’s not until tomorrow. 🫤

55 yrs ago today the Terrier VIII left Durban following the whaling fleet in hopes of finding great white sharks. It was the launch of the expedition to film the documentary Blue Water White Death which ultimately found their white shark in Australia with Rodney Fox. #BWWD
