Early morning incident. Tractor on fire on the A174 near Whitby. Lythe and Whitby attended the incident and extiguished using hose reel jets with firefighters in breathing apparatus. North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service
Yesterday we attended a moorland fire near Levisham on the @northyorkmoors, alongside Lythe Fire Station, Malton Fire Station, Robin Hoods Bay Fire Station and Kirkbymoorside. Thank you to Mountain Rescue England and Wales for your assistance. #firefighter #northyorkshire #firefighting
This kept us busy for a couple of hours today. A large area of standing crop had caught fire which had consumed most of the field. This was swiftly knocked back and extinguished by crews from Whibty, Lythe Fire Station and Danby fire stations. North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service @Sierra17NYFRS
At around 5am this morning crews from Lythe Fire Station, Whitby, Danby, Scarborough and Saltburn as well as an officer were mobilised to a house fire in Whitby. The fire is now extinguished with investigations on-going. North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Mark Naylor
