At the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society last week and great to see a few house martins. Sadly lots of evidence of nests that had fallen, at least 1 must have fallen recently as an adult kept flying to where it used to be. A small win! Planted 10 acres of Cotswold Seeds in mid may & its had hardly any moisture. I assumed it was dead but the crop of fat hen was stunning & grazed well, but now the lay has appeared! Bottom end of the field is brash so none of the grass lived. Overseeding this Friday
