Researchers have shown a small molecule, called a peptide, could prevent the death of nerve cells in C9orf72 motor neurone disease (#MND) and frontotemporal dementia (#FTD). They also hinted the peptide, with further studies, could be developed into a nasal spray. More below.

C9orf72 is an area his team have been working on.
