Straight off the plane in Xi’an and mashang (immediately) to the BYD Manufacturing plant to learn more about how the cars are produced, witness the Yangwang U8 burn rubber before chilling at the amazing W Hotel!

I feel like the buffet dinner we had at the W Hotel in Xi’an tonight warrants a standalone post … it was seriously on a different level!

Got a chance to test drive the Sea Lion 7 LHD BEV on a tarmac circuit in Xi’an! Probably my favourite amongst the pack - easy to control with decent acceleration and good braking distance … and maybe a few donuts thrown in there for good measure 🍩😅 BYD BYD Global

Being driven around Shenzhen in a BYD electric bus has been one of the highlights so far on our media trip: quiet, smooth, comfortable, luxurious - I could go on with the superlatives … ! 👏🐼🇨🇳
