This, by World Economic Forum, is subtle and insidious greenwash. It blames humans in general for impacts disproportionately caused by the ultra-rich and their corporations. 100 companies cause 71% of the world's emissions. Their CEOs are brought together and celebrated by the WEF.
In trying to reduce the impact of our diets, we tend massively to over-emphasise #FoodMiles, and under-emphasise the type of food we eat. Even if you shipped bananas 6 times round the planet, their impact would be lower than local beef and lamb. ourworldindata.org/food-choice-vs…
It's shocking that a government account calling itself scotgovnetzero could celebrate the rise of one of the nation's most ecologically damaging industries. Pure greenwash on behalf of industrial interests.

Produced by Lucy Chamberlin and filmed and directed by me. Popular little films with some terrific people.
