So honored to speak yesterday at the World Happiness Summit in Lake Como, about how teaching children that doing good for causes that they are passionate about helps their self esteem and well being on route to their happiness.

While making cards for nursing homes at Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens a student asked Loukoumi Foundation’s Nick Katsoris what the favorite part of his job was and Nick said: “I like teaching children to help others.” And the young girl said, “I want to help people too!”

Great day at Our Lady of Grace School as author Nick Katsoris read and discussed with students how we can all make a difference in the world. Students who volunteer at the School's Food Pantry will receive an award on June 1 at the 9th Annual Loukoumi Foundation Make A Difference Awards!
