Silence. Roy could list the battles he fought, the wartorn fields he's trekked through, the comrades he lost on the frontlines.. . . . "Perhaps you're right. I'm sorry." He stated in an uneasy manner. "I'm not opposed to sparring with you. I'd be happy to give you that chance."

"Surely you rest at one point? It can't be good to stay awake for so long."

The words that he was told earlier.. 'You haven't suffered through what I have.' They ringed through his mind. "..." A stressed sigh, as he held his feather pen, finding the motivation to write very hard.

"I imagine that's apart of your skillset as a Sheikah? Ever elusive, even on the battlefield from what I have seen firsthand."

Blink blink. ".. You did? I hardly noticed, Sheik.-"

".. Figures what?" He couldn't help but ask.

".. You know, I can recognize that tone.." A sincere statement from the Marquess, as he rested a hand on his shoulder. "It matters to me, if it's something that truly bothers you."

"Ah-! My apologies, Sheik. I had nothing but good intentions." Roy quickly stated, holding up his hands. "My previous point still stands, if it is of any comfort, though."

Roy looked around, before accepting Sheik's body had disappeared. "Then.. I'm sorry. I'm afraid I didn't understand your feelings up until now. I apologize if it seemed like I disregarded them. Though, if given a chance, I would like to do right by you in the future."

Roy was shocked by Sheik's sudden appearance. ".. Of course. I hate the idea that you're left hanging. Left unnoticed. As a friend, I should strive to do right by you."

"Though I can't see you.. I believe my words are reaching you, and the meaning of those words, as well. I believe I am talking to someone, even if you are a disembodied voice at this time."

"Every competitor is an important individual of me. We're all equals. .. I think people tell you it because /it is/ the truth. You just aren't open to accept it. They want to connect with you, and you shut them out. .. And well, I don't think that's anyway to live."
