I loved the those hills rising from the sea as I strolled along the beach in the sun today.

A stroll by the beach. I’m not a beach person and could think of nothing worse than lying on a sunlounger for more than half a second. Really enjoyed walking along this empty beach today though.

At the end of the beach was this harbour. A proper working harbour with fishing boats and part sunken boats, rusting slowly away.

Have come to the beach in Albania and I’ve beaten the crowds. By about ten years! A mile of white, sandy beach and not one person here. And I mean absolutely nobody here.

Worth the climb up to the castle for this view. Ok, I actually drove up to the castle, but I did have to walk from the car to the edge to get this shot.

They do like telegraph wires here. Love the glow from the streetlamp on the stone buildings, with the mountains beyond. And telegraph wires. Lots of those. Berat, Albania.
