The bulk appears to be Diptera, other vespids, other bees, spiders. They can severely deplete invertebrate prey for other predators which then turn to honey bees out of lack of other prey.

Bee careful what you wish for! Tests cost £. Nobody wants adulterated honey but this proposed test will hit the wrong target. Most BKA members are small scale artisan beekeepers. This is not where the problem of adulterated honey lies.

Ldn Beekeepers Assoc Many small producers would be caught out by the tests. Anyone who feeds autumn syrup and doesn’t follow up with comb change in spring will likeky have processed sugar residue present which could cause a test to fail your product. DNA tests also not reliable where exotic 🌸grow.
